Cao Đài is a syncretic religion, drawing mainly on the teachings of Confuciansim, Taoism, and Buddhism. It was founded here, in southern Vietnam, in the 1920s, and today has between four and six million adherents in the country. This film shows a noon service principal temple, or Holy See, of the main branch of Caodism at Tây Ninh, a town near the border with Cambodia.
